About This Temple
Sri Bhramaramba Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple stands on a plateau in the Nallamala hills above the Krishna river at Srisailam, Andhra Pradesh. It is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. It is also one of the eighteen Maha Shakti Peethas, for the goddess Bhramaramba. Few temples hold both. The complex lies inside the Nagarjunsagar-Srisailam Tiger Reserve.
